Bank of America and Deutsche Bank lead Business Achievement Awards 2026 for excellence in financial services innovation

The TAB Global Business Achievement Awards 2026 honoured leading institutions for excellence in global transaction banking, payments, and trade and supply chain finance. The awards recognised organisations that advanced innovation, technology and client service across the global financial services industry.

  • Bank of America was recognised as Best Global Transaction, Supply Chain Finance, and Foreign Exchange (FX) Bank for its use of real-time payments and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven cash forecasting.
  • Deutsche Bank was awarded Best Global Cash Management and Corporate Payments Bank for its global reach and digital transformation using blockchain and AI.
  • OCBC was awarded Best AI Initiative in Corporate and Transaction Banking in Asia Pacific for its AI-driven credit application automation and sustainable infrastructure.
  • Security Bank received two awards: Best Mobile Banking Technology Initiative for its enhanced user experience, digital onboarding, and scalable transaction capabilities and Best Payment Technology Initiative for its collaboration with ACI Worldwide to transform its payment infrastructure into a unified, scalable platform, supporting real-time processing.

Kuala Lumpur, May 14, 2026 – The TAB Global Business Achievement Awards 2026 recognised leading financial institutions across global transaction banking, technology innovation, AI, cross border payments, investments, payments and trade finance. The awards spotlighted banks that have demonstrated innovation, efficiency and digital transformation across their services. From real-time payments and AI-driven solutions to seamless cross-border trade and supply chain finance capabilities, the awardees reflected ongoing developments in the use of technology to support operations and customer services in the financial sector.

Bank of America was awarded Best Global Transaction, Supply Chain Finance, and Foreign Exchange (FX) Bank for its use of real-time payments and AI-powered cash forecasting through its CashPro platform, enabling businesses to make financial decisions more efficiently. The bank also received Best Global Supply Chain Finance Bank for its Open Account Automation (OAA) capabilities, which improved liquidity management and invoicing processes.

Deutsche Bank was recognised Best Global Cash Management and Corporate Payments Bank due to its wide global reach and AI integration. Its real-time transaction processing and automated cash pooling allowed clients to manage liquidity efficiently, reducing reliance on external funding, particularly during periods of volatility.

MUFG Bank was awarded Best Global Trade Finance Bank for its cross-border trade solutions and regional partnerships across Southeast Asia. The bank's integration of AI and digital platforms streamlined trade processes and supported evolving global supply chains.

Security Bank received two awards: Best Mobile Banking Technology Initiative for its digital onboarding and mobile enhancements, which increased engagement across retail banking; and Best Payment Technology Initiative together with ACI Worldwide for creating a scalable, real-time payment infrastructure with ISO 20022 integration to improve efficiency and transaction reliability.

OCBC received Best AI Initiative in Corporate and Transaction Banking in Asia Pacific for its AI-driven credit application automation, which improved productivity and workflow efficiency. The bank also won Best AI Infrastructure for Performance and Sustainability for its integration of sustainability-focused AI solutions across operations.

NIUM was awarded for its cutting-edge cloud-native payments infrastructure, supporting real-time cross-border transactions in more than 190 countries. The platform's scalability and regulatory integration strengthen operational resilience and payments processing capabilities.

Alliance Bank, in partnership with Juristech, was recognised for its Retail Loan Origination System (RLOS), which automated and digitised the consumer lending process. The system reduced turnaround times and improved operational efficiency in loan processing.

Vietcombank was named Best FDI/ODI Bank in Vietnam for its foreign investment franchise supporting inbound and outbound capital flows, including initiatives in sustainable finance through green bond issuances and a growing green credit portfolio.

United Overseas Bank (UOB) was awarded Best FDI/ODI Bank in Asia Pacific for its FDI Advisory platform, which connects corporates with government agencies and industrial ecosystems across ASEAN, to support market entry and cross-border investments. UOB also received the award for Best Corporate, Investment and Wholesale Bank in Singapore, with its UOB Infinity platform, which supports ASEAN market connectivity and corporate banking activity across transaction banking, trade finance and capital markets.

Bank of China (Hong Kong) was recognised as Best Corporate, Investment and Wholesale Bank in Hong Kong, for comprehensive its services in trade finance, treasury and cash management, supporting corporate and institutional clients across Asia’s financial hub.
