Roles and Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all content-related deliverables of the Company’s publication titles in text, print, video, audio, social media and other digital platforms to ensure that they are published on a timely and high-quality basis;
• Initiate and execute ideas to enhance overall contents and deliverables, to conduct interviews with industry leaders, moderate events and represent TAB in public forums;
• Write regular opinions as well as features on relevant and current topics;
• Edit and proofread all our written research, editorial and social media contents for dissemination through all our channels, ensuring grammatical correctness, factual accuracy and readability;
• Develop editorial relationships with the target audience and news sources around the world.

Core Skills:

• Ability to manage the content of the Company’s online and social media platforms effectively for clients of the Company;
• Ability to initiate, organise, execute and deliver editorial assignments accurately and professionally in a timely manner;
• Ability to apply high sub-editing and journalistic standards in the execution of your work;
• Ability to determine the best way to tell a story on the channels and platforms in your care – List, infographic, videos, slideshow, voice files, long form or short form editorial content.
• Ability to train and manage people, projects and possess journalist interview experience.

You will be measured on the following KPIs:

• Accuracy and timeliness in the execution of your assignments are fundamental to your success;
• Relationships with key industry layers;
• Number of opinions and features on relevant and current topics;

Requirements:

• Possess at least a tertiary qualification in relevant field such as journalism, research;
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience;
• Strong business or banking, consulting, research or writing background;
• Strong command of the English language;
• Sub-editing experience, preferably with websites or online publications;
• Be comfortable with the use of CMS such as Wordpress, Joomla, or ModX;
• Be able to work under pressure independently with minimum supervision;
• Confident to face the public, possess editorial and leadership management experience;
• Knowledge of Social Media tools is a plus, but not critical.
