Global trade is undergoing significant change. The increasing trend of anti-globalisation – and, in particular, the burgeoning US-China trade war – is challenging the established, interwoven ecosystem of world trade, affecting the entire global flow of goods.
The growing tension between the two largest economies of the world has created a domino-effect ranging from increased cost in price of goods and services to a shift in political perspective favoring nationalistic and protectionist practices. The standoff between the two giants has become a cause of concern for many ecomic analystst, especially since the respective leaders of both countries show no sign of ba cking down.
